PRIMARY WITH MATHS
How would you describe your training year?
Well it has obviously been challenging due to the pandemic but I’ve felt supported and everyone has been really adaptable in the sense of needing to self-isolate or bubbles going down, we’ve been very flexible and we have been trying to make sure that we reach that required teaching standard.
In terms of the course quality, has it lived up to your expectations?
The pandemic meant that a lot of the course was delivered online and the different aspects that they managed to capture was really good – everyone has been fantastic. To say everything has been on Teams, the level of learning has been fantastic
Do you have a highlight that you can think of?
Taking that first lesson was probably my highlight, having that sense of working with the class teacher but using the behavioural techniques we learnt and having the children respond to you was a great feeling.
