STEP 1
Research and Prepare
Learn about our courses and routes into teaching.
Attend an event, talk to our team and gain classroom experience if you can.
STEP 2
Apply through DfE Apply
When you’re ready, submit your application through the government’s DfE Apply portal.
You’ll choose Red Kite Teacher Training and your preferred course.
STEP 3
Interview and Offer
If shortlisted, we’ll invite you to interview and share full preparation guidance.
Successful applicants receive a formal offer and induction details.
What Happens Next?
After you apply, our team will keep in touch throughout your journey - providing advice, interview preparation, and support with any questions about eligibility, subject knowledge or placements.
