Assessment Only - information for schools

If you have staff in your school who would like to gain Qualified Teacher Status, while continuing in their current role in school, this information event will provide you with an overview of how the assessment period is structured, what is involved from the school and the eligibility criteria.

This event will take place online and provide the opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.

The assessment only route is for staff who are currently teaching in a school but do not have QTS. They must have at least 2 years experience teaching for at least 50% of a weekly timetable. They also need to have experience teaching in another school.

This event is for Headteachers, ITT coordinators or senior members of staff who know of staff in their schools who are currently teaching but do not have QTS and would like to gain this qualification.
